WHO AM I
I am a combat designer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in building systems in Unreal Engine and Unity. My design philosophy focuses on creating sophisticated enemy AI and combat encounters that challenge player's skills. I specialize in finite state machines and tactical combat loops that draw inspirations from the Last Of Us Part 2, Max Payne, and Days Gone.
As a project lead at PantherDev I was present for the transitional phases of the organization's history. I was there when we only had 11 members, the growth period to 60 before lockdowns, and was there to assist leadership after the lockdowns ended to revamp our vetting process for future project leads. During my time at PantherDev I got to work on a vast array of projects that taught me how to handle scope, keep feature creep to a minimum, and collaborate with cross disciplinary teams while hitting deadlines.
I have previously attended events such as Atlanta Dream Hack, Momocon, and GDC. In 2019, I attended my first GDC as a representative for PantherDev. Currently, I am an active member of Atlanta Game Devs, and regularly attend their monthly meetups.
I’m excited about what lies ahead in my career journey as I look for my first industry job. I’m eager to connect with other professionals who share my passion for innovation in gaming.
